Brie Goolbis served for twelve years as a school counselor in the United States. Later she worked as a college counselor, Dean of Students, Director of Counseling, as well as an Admissions and Marketing Director at prestigious international schools in four different countries on three continents. Her volunteer work has included administering the GED to high school dropouts in the state of New Hampshire, serving as a court mediator for families with children experiencing difficulties, and most recently as a Resource Volunteer for the American Cancer Society.

Brie’s interests include yoga and vegetarian cooking. Most of all, she loves to reuse, repurpose, and recycle. Brie and Mike have been married for twenty-five years and have raised four children. They currently live in Hampstead, North Carolina.
