This book is the result of a growing hunger
among Lee Lozowick’s French students, and French-speaking
devotees of Yogi Ramsuratkumar, to read Lee’s poetry to the
Blessed Beggar in their own language. One-hundred-eight of
Lee’s previously published poems (from Death of a Dishonest
Man) are contained herein, chosen for their representation
of the many moods of love in which the devotee sings to his
Master. These translations keep the intention of being as
faithful as possible to the style of the “bad Poet” (as Lee
calls himself), and eminently convey the wild, vibrant and
spontaneous energy that the original English versions offer. |
