Steve Ball
Steve
Ball has been a musician since he picked up his first
trombone at the age of thirteen. At sixteen, the music of
Felix Cavaliere of The Young Rascals turned him on to
the magic of playing organ in a rock band. As a DJ for ten
years he followed the siren call of rock music. Today, Steve
divides his time among his many talents and passions: fine
woodworking, a hectic schedule of performance, travel and
recording, and a solid commitment to spiritual life and
practice. Formerly of liars, gods & beggars, with
whom Steve played since 1988, he is currently the keyboard
artist with SHRI, a blues band (see www.shriblues.com)
and The Denise Allen Band, both of which perform
throughout the U.S. Southwest, and in Europe. Steve’s work
is included on over twenty-five albums of original music.
