Interviews and stories from
Westerners who have renounced the
materialistic values of their native
culture in favor of a life of austerity and spiritual practice in
India. Marcus Allsop’s pilgrimage takes
him from Mt. Arunachala in southern India
to the source of the Ganges in the foothills
of the Himalayas. The text is augmented by
Allsop’s photographs taken throughout his
journey. |
