JOURNAL Volume 4: Cranky Rants and Bitter Wisdom from One Considered Wise in Some Quarters

    February 27, 2002 through May 12, 2002

  By Mr. Lee Khepa Baul

The living teaching of the American-born spiritual master, Lee Lozowick, the founder of the Western Baul Tradition, is here expressed and encoded in 5 volumes (only 4 are still available) of his personal journals. Each book contains thirty or more of Lee’s spontaneous essays (he tells the reader that no editing is made) written one-a-day over the course of several months at a time, beginning in 1990 and culminating in 2005.

Commenting upon these writings, Lee remarked that everything prior to these books that was credited to him was “about the teaching.” With the publication of these journals he remarked, “these are the teaching.” No linear continuity will be found herein. These books capture the mind, heart and mood of the spiritual master as he reflects upon life as it is. They are guaranteed to, CHOOSE ONE: a.) provoke, b.) delight, c.) outrage, d.) frustrate, e.) enlighten, f.) all of the above.
