Death of a Dishonest Man: Poems and Prayers to Yogi Ramsuratkumar

  By Lee Lozowick

This book is the living witness of a rare relationship between Master and disciple. It catalogs the devotional poetry –– often written in the classic form of ninda stuti, “ironical praise” –– of Lee Lozowick addressed to his Master, the Divine Beggar of Tiruvannamalai, Yogi Ramsuratkumar. Beginning with Lee’s initial expressions of love and surrender in May 1979, hundreds more poems followed. This book contains those written through March 1998.

The essential poems and prayers are augmented with dharmic essays by other renowned individuals, including Arnaud Desjardins, Claudio Naranjo, Robert Svoboda, and poet Andrew Schelling. Commentaries by some of Lee’s students and dozens of Lee’s song lyrics complete this bountiful offering.
