Lalitha Thomas
has always been a “Medicine Woman.” From early childhood she
intuitively used plants in caring for sick and wounded
animals. For over thirty-five years she has studied with
master herbalists and healers, and since 1980 she has
trained hundreds of students in her own varieties of herbal
“magic.” Former owner of an herb company in Western
Massachusetts,
Lalitha is currently working as an teacher, a writer and a
consultant in her native
Arizona.
A popular talk-show guest, noted for her folksy and
outspoken style, Lalitha and her husband live in a remote
setting in
Arizona
and in northern Washington state.
